These institutions must warn the regime to end the repression. You can also adapt the message using GenAI based on the institution you are addressing and the language of the country where you reside, and send it yourself.

The internet has been deliberately blocked across Iran amid widespread protests. This shutdown coincides with credible reports of excessive use of force, systematic repression, and the killing of civilians. Available evidence indicates that a significant portion of the population remains determined in its rejection of the current regime, despite intimidation, arbitrary detention, and lethal violence. Instead of addressing these demands, Iranian authorities continue to rely on suppression and information blackouts. In this context, I respectfully call on the Government of Canada, and in particular Global Affairs Canada, to use its diplomatic, legal, and policy instruments to warn the Islamic Republic of Iran against the continuation of repression, violence, and the unlawful killing of people, and to strengthen measures aimed at accountability, including through existing human-rights mechanisms.
